最近幾年，一直在思考“盒體”的空間手法，用立方體來解決一些問題，把原本建築的理論借鑑到空間設計的運用中來，我覺得是一件十分有趣的事情。事實上，盒體可以適用於多個尺度，城市、建築、室內、傢俱等等。
In recent years， I have been exploring the space technique of “box body”， in an attempt to solve problems by integrating this architectural theory into space designing， which， from my point of view， is quite fascinating。 In fact， the box body can be applied at multiple scales， including cities， structures， furniture and so on。
本案是一個鬧市區的街道轉角處、一座三層樓的建築，建築呈異形狀，玻璃幕牆的外觀帶來了良好的採光，同時也讓室內空間暴露在視野中，侷促的空間進深、喧鬧的外部環境，是它客觀存在的條件；這同時也是一個商業專案，商業專案最大的特點就是“命題作文”——主題確定、空間確定、功能分割槽確定……
This case is special shaped building with three floors at the corner of a downtown street。 The glass facade ensures sufficient daylighting， and yet exposes cramped interior space at the same time。 The narrowness of inside and bustling environment outside are the conditions for its objective existence， and it is also a commercial project， whose biggest feature is designed to be “topic given composition”— determining the theme， the space and the function area。……
我們不想做得那麼“確定”；
We do not want to be so “definite”。
於是決定將這個單層面積不到300平方米的商業空間，規劃成一個偏建築化的街邊店，或者是一個商業型別的美術館。
Therefore， we planned to transform this structure with less than 300 square meters each floor into an architectural street store or a commercial gallery。
建構與秩序
CONSTRUCTION AND ORDER

建構被定義為“詩意的建造”，適合用來解決入口處的“敞”。懸吊的厚牆體，既是屏障也是媒介，形成一條長廊，拉長空間動線，增加環遊感，也能對外界有隱約感知。
Construction is defined as “poetic construction”， which is suitable for solving the “opening” at the entrance。 The suspended thick wall is not only a barrier but also a medium， forming a corridor， lengthening the spatial moving line， increasing the sense of traveling around， but also vaguely perceiving the outside world。
盒體就是這個空間的秩序，讓內外空間有一種明確的關係，或者是明顯的線索。
The box is the order of the space， thereby establishing a clear relationship between inner and outer space， or an obvious clue。

BOX SPACE

前面說過，這是一個建築異形、進深侷促、外部喧囂，單層面積還不大的轉角街邊空間。將這種商業空間變成有建築感的街店，我們用盒體作為最主要的設計語言，將空間切割成大小不同、虛實交錯的盒體。
As mentioned earlier， this is a special-shaped building， a corner street space with limited depth and width and a noisy neighborhood。 In order to turn this commercial space into an architectural street store， box body will be used as the main design language to cut the space into boxes in different sizes， interlacing virtuality and reality。
在原本的建築格局中，置入層疊的立方體，劃分出不同的功能場所，透過立方體的分隔、層疊、漸進和規整，使得盒體之間產生聯結，形成一致、產生空間語言的對話，並讓空間的秩序感得以流暢律動。
In the original architectural pattern， stacked cubes are placed and different functional places are divided。 Stacked cubes will be inserted into the previous architectural pattern， marking functional subdivisions。
本案一共三層樓，縱向過高。一樓和二樓的挑空，讓兩個大的立方體串聯起來，有對視有呼應。二樓的步出，能夠體現出一種沉浸式的空間尺度。
This building has three floors with excessive internal height。 The empty space between the first and second floor makes enough room for two connected large cubes。 The step out of the second floor reflects an immersive spatial scale。
盒子的層疊漸進形成廊道，於是有了光影。
The layers of boxes gradually form a corridor， so there is light and shadow。

光影之間的轉變顯得層次分明，陰影和光斑隨時間而流動。
The transformation between light and shadow is hierarchical， and shadows and spots flow with time。
立方體層疊並掏空，讓光滲透進來，在不同的立面照射出不同的色澤，光形成影，光影之間的轉變顯得更鮮明層次，空間也就有了靈魂。有了生命感。
The cubes are stacked and hollowed so that light is able to penetrate them and reflect different colors on different facades。 Thus the interchange of light and shadow becomes more distinct， injecting life in this space。

在熱帶，最富有的元素便是熱情似火的驕陽、廣袤無邊的沙漠。熱帶植物不僅自帶陽光明媚的特效，而且能讓大氣、禁慾的空間場景注入生活的親切感。讓空間更加白潔明亮，視覺更加開闊無比。
Tropical areas are characterized by the scorching sun and boundless deserts。 Plants from these areas not only possess tropical vibe， but also create amiable atmosphere， providing whiter， brighter and more expanded visual effects。
木作給空間注入溫度，植物讓空間充滿生命力，木製地臺可以席地而坐……一切充滿生命感的元素，讓空間有了溫度。
Woodwork increases the warmth， and people can sit on wooden platforms； plants make the space full of vitality。 All these elements warm the place。
肌理&溫度
TEXTURE & TEMPERATURE

建築始於兩塊磚被仔細地連線在一起。——密斯·凡德羅
The construction begins with two bricks being carefully connected together。——Mies Van der Rohe
材質。粗糙的牆體肌理面和光潔的石材表面恰當地結合，體現了當代設計和生活化的一種碰撞。從冰涼的觸感平滑到溫暖的肌理感，空間顯得更有溫度。
Rough wall texture and smooth stone surface are properly combined， which demonstrates sparkles when contemporary designing and life collide。 The sense of touch becomes warmer from rough wall to smooth stone。
而設計一直沒有違背初衷，一樓的水吧有專門的外擺和單獨的出入口，可以對外，使其街邊商業的邏輯成立，成為跟普通售房部不一樣的空間。
The design has never defied the original intention。 The water bar on the first floor has a special swing and separate entrance and exit， which is in accord with commercial logic and more importantly sets it apart from other sales departments。
外立面繼續沿用盒體的空間秩序，保持了一致性。盒體的層疊略有變化，從疏到密，形成漸變，讓律動更富節奏感。
The outer facade continues to follow the spatial order of the box body， maintaining consistency。
The stacking of the box body changes slightly， from sparse to dense， forming a gradient， making the rhythm more rhythmic。
