The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China recently released the list of its second batch of national cultural and ecological reserves。 The Hakka Culture （Meizhou） ecological reserve has made it to the list。

近日，文化和旅遊部公佈了第二批國家級文化生態保護區名單，客家文化（梅州）生態保護區名列其中。

As a result of unremitting efforts over 10 years， the Hakka Culture （Meizhou） Ecological Protection Experimental Zone has been accepted and got recognized as the first national cultural and ecological protection zone in Guangdong。

經過十多年的不懈努力，客家文化（梅州）生態保護實驗區成功透過驗收，成為目前廣東首個國家級文化生態保護區。

Meizhou is an excellent tourist city in China。 It is a famous national historical and cultural city， which is considered the cultural capital of East Asia。 It enjoys many more reputations， such as the “Hakka Culture Capital of the World”， and the “Longevity Capital of the World”。

梅州是中國優秀旅遊城市、國家歷史文化名城、東亞文化之都，享有“世界客都”“世界長壽之都”等眾多美譽。

According to statistics， there are more than 7 million expatriate Chinese and Hong Kong， Macao， and Taiwan compatriots whose ancestral home is Meizhou。 They live in more than 80 countries and regions around the world。

據統計，祖籍梅州的海外華人、華僑和港澳臺同胞達700多萬人，遍佈80多個國家和地區。
